Fresh plant juice
When making a fresh plant press juice, the fresh plant is washed and crushed. Subsequently, it is either cold or hot-pressed and the resulting plant juice is centrifuged or filtered. In the hot pressing, the drug is treated beforehand with steam in order to deactivate the enzymes. To ensure its preservation, the juice is pasteurised (heated) and/or stabilised with alcohol (ethanol).
